Small Code Request
I'm currently working on a large scale project, and it's going smoothly. However, I want to add a specific piece of code into it, but I don't know how to make it. All I need is a code that will create flashing text, and I don't want to clear the screen of the amount of Output( commands I have in it. Can anyone help me?
A TI-Basic game code
If you want to make a comment just edit the comments section I've added.
Please do not change any part of this code, it was very hard to put together.

Don't forget to add the tildes
Monobook skin
So, I stumbled across into . It worked. eventually. But then, the Common.css style for the Wikitable looked wrong (white and black on top of green and dark green?), so I put the green and dark green colors into Common.css. Then I looked at the page using Monobook, and for absolutely no reason whatsoever, I started customizing that skin to look a bit closer to this skin. I haven't finished, but I'm done for today. And I'm probably going to have to finish it, and it's not like I need more distractions and…
So, yeah…
Skin customization part 2
I still don't know which of the wordmark fonts would be best...
Basically, this version is black background, gray header, like one of a TI calculator's screen borders, and a slightly green-tinted page, like a TI calculator screen. The buttons are black and the links remained blue, just because. This could be improved with an actual graphic in the background. I could also use that MediaWiki.css to turn the a.wikia-button.secondary
items blue, since the Graphing buttons on the TI-84 are blue.
Basically what I have now is supposed to invoke a TI screen; I can't say much beyond that. Does it work?
Skin customization
Since the new skin (officially "Wikia", I may still call it Oasis out of habit) is being released, I figured it might be a good time to change the theme. So, I was wondering what people associated with TI. So far all I did do was give the wordmark a sans-serif font, but I'm still thinking of telling it to specifically make it a TI-calculator font, with either the current font or a monospaced sans-serif font a last resort. The specific fonts I'm referring to are mentioned in this entry.
Relating to colors, I tend to associate either blue or yellow with TI, because my calculators have been either blue or the loaned-yellow color, but wikipedia's page pictures for both the TI-84 and TI-89 are black with silver hilights. And the TI-nspire page i…
Optimization
:prgmBOXA
:Prompt X
:X
:DelVar X
:shift(Ans,2
:Disp Ans
Now, tell me what this function returns. It's optimized, I'm certain; Prompt does not return anything because it does not have a parenthesis (But then again, Output doesn't return anything, I thought…). But anyway, it deletes the only word it creates As Soon As Possible. It uses Ans for everything, and without all that pesky storing into anything, except Ans storing stuff in Ans doesn't count, apparently. Or maybe it takes up time since 5X
stores 5 in both X and ans… that makes sense. And Disp Ans
is two characters, as opposed to Output(1,1,Ans
which is an ugly and bloated six chars, and if it had that ending parenthesis, the horrors of a seven char command would be unleashed, and no one wa…
Should I just delete them?
There are/were certainly plenty of IPs creating spam pages... not in a high volvume, but a high number. And these pages tend to clog the Special:WantedPages after the pages are created, User:Wikia welcomes them, then the page is deleted. I really dislike the Wanted Anything feeds being clogged, so I'd want to remove them. I was going through the IP User Pages removing any broken links in them, but should I just delete those user pages?
TI fonts
I would really like to know who decided to store these fonts inside executables instead of something more usable. Like zip files, or just simply the font files. If they used zip files, they wouldn't need separate versions for Windows and Macs!
I was hoping to be able to use them inside code tags, but since I refuse to download exe files when a simple zip file would do, I'll need someone more gulible willing to use the fonts to confirm if they could be used for this purpose. Things like if the characters concerned map to Courier New characters (use Unicode) as we'd still want to support the more common font even if we do use the TI fonts. Also, I'd need the face's names.
Just possible future considerations.
TI-89 access!
I figured that I might as well mention that I now have TI-89 access, meaning I can make the wiki less biased towards the TI-84. I still have to learn TI-89-BASIC though, but I've already translated Analog Clock to TI-89-BASIC within 6 hours of getting the calculator, it shouldn't take too much longer.
